Planting at Tibbets Creek

Please join the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe’s Habitat Restoration Team, Trout Unlimited and the Lake Sammamish Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership as we restore riparian habitat of Tibbets Creek. We will be planting native plants along the shore of this salmon-bearing stream at Lake Sammamish State Park. As these plants grow into a community, they will create much needed food, shade, and structure for the fish, birds, pollinators, and more. Come learn about the work the Snoqualmie Tribe, Trout Unlimited and the UWRP are doing, how it connects us to the ecosystem, and hopefully see some fish leaping beaver dams!

When: Saturday, December 10th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Where: Lake Sammamish State Park, Issaquah
Hosts: Snoqualmie Tribe, Trout Unlimited, and Lake Sammamish UWRP
