Ancestral Lands Movement Walk

Learn about the Snoqualmie Tribe’s Ancestral Land Movement with a DIY “Walk in the Park” at Lake Sammamish State Park. The walk begins at Sunset Beach and ends at Tibbets Beach. The walk is sponsored by the Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park in partnership with the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe.

The Snoqualmie Tribe’s Ancestral Lands Movement seeks to spread awareness of the Snoqualmie people who have lived in the southern Salish Sea region since time immemorial and share the significance of these lands and provide information on how people can help the Tribe in respecting, restoring, and protecting these lands.

Bring your friends and family to learn about all you can do to protect our shared wild spaces.

When: September 28th - October 28th
