Three Rivers Chapter of Trout Unlimited is hosting their annual fun run to raise funds for kokanee salmon recovery work. Native kokanee salmon are unique to Lake Sammamish and are in danger of becoming extinct. Some of Trout Unlimited’s work includes: protecting the Kokanee’s access to spawning areas, educating fishermen to properly identify Kokanee, educating residents about environmentally-friendly lawn care, and more.
