Salmon Sleuths with FLSSP

Dust off your sleuthing skills!

Salmon watching season isn’t over yet! Join Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park Board member and resident salmon expert, David Kyle, as you hunt for Kokanee salmon and learn more about the salmon's habitat and lifestyle. This is a unique opportunity to see a less traveled part of the park and to observe a smaller, less famous salmon population. Their migration patterns are harder to predict, so there is no guarantee that salmon will be viewed at this event, but we will give you all the salmon sleuthing tools you will need to find these elusive fish!

As Laughing Jacob is a small creek and access is limited, we will be keeping this event limited to 15 people.

Where: Lake Sammamish State Park, Issaquah
