Join this very special community stewardship event hosted by students from Gibson Ek High School in parthership with the Lake Sammamish Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership (UWRP), Trout Unlimited (TU) and Green Issaquah.
Students will lead the effort at Anthology Open Space to remove invasive species, primarily blackberry bushes, to clear space to native plant trees in the wetland area along a section of Tibbetts Creek. This special event is part of a Design Lab collaboration between Gibson Ek High School and Trout Unlimited focusing on kokanee salmon recovery and watershed health.
